Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and will shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home which has a combined gross family income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and need not post any proof of income.
